I recently started researching how to make my own cleaning products. This research lead me to discover all manner of fabulous household tips which, I am slightly embarrassed to admit, I find wonderfully exciting.

By no means do I have an all out rejection of chemicals but equally so I find the concept of using “baby safe” cleaning products to have a great appeal. I have wooden floors in my living room I’m forever cleaning… and she’s forever licking. I have a coffee table I like to polish… and she likes to lick. You can see a theme developing here I’m sure.

My plan is to test different tips and then report back. I have bought an enormous jar of white vinegar, a 3kg sack of bicarbonate of soda, and a bag of lemons.
